At the time of Prophet Muhammed (SAW), Zina (Adultery) was rare; Nowadays it's very common.

Reason:

At the time of Prophet Muhammed (SAW),

Nikah (Marriage) was easy (less expensive and less complicated)

And Zina was complicated (hard to access and expensive).

Nowadays,

Zina is very easy (to access and less expensive [1 000LKR or so])

Nikah is very complicated (to organize and very expensive [at least few hundred thousand LKR])
